- Milford High School & Applied Technology Center is hosting a Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) project on May 19 to build beds. The project will be led by construction technology and engineering teachers with student volunteers. Their goal is to raise enough funds and supplies to build 20 beds. This event is for ALL Seniors – that’s over 600 students expected to attend, many of whom are looking for the right opportunity/reason to stay in New Hampshire!!! This is the second year for this very successful event which will include an ole’ fashion, traditional career fair bringing many collaborative opportunities for companies and our students. Our goal is to open our doors to the community and show our learners the career possibilities in our own backyard. You can present at either the high school, middle school or both, depending on the topic, your time and comfort level.
Format: 30 minute sessions, each with roughly 15+ learners.
ALL sessions will be supported by CHS or JRMS staff members.
Give a presentation about your industry, the nature of your work, what skills are needed for someone looking to enter the field, and your journey that led you to this career. This would be followed by Q&A from the learners. If you have a special activity in mind and only want a specific number of students, just let the school contact know.

While the College Fair is enjoying nearly three decades of success, the Apprenticeship “INSET” is only in its second season and if Spring of 2022 was an indication of the potential interest, Spring of 2023 promises to be even more amazing. Thursday, April 13, 8am – 3pm | Career Day
On career day, every teacher will be matched with a guest speaker. For example, in the Math Department, one teacher may host an accountant while other Math teachers may host a stockbroker, financial analyst or a carpenter. Depending on a student’s schedule, every student could potentially meet and interact with 5-8 speakers that day.
West High School is requesting representatives who would be interested in educating students about his/her profession. They are looking for people who can commit for the whole day or half a day, and provide hands-on/interactive activities that will engage students. An afternoon half day would run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an arrival time of 11:30 a.m. a morning half day would run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with an arrival time of 7:30 a.m. If you are interested in making this event a memorable day for students and faculty, please click on this link to sign up.
Career & Resource Fair for Alvirne, Nashua, and Milford

Students from Alvirne, Nashua, and Milford will have a chance to board buses and attend this year’s Career and Resource Fair; which will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Nashua. CTE industry, community, and post-secondary partners are invited to register for a table.
Note: Event registration opens on Feb 20th for industry, community and post-secondary partners that wish to participate.
